This game has BEAUTIFUL scenery, very lifelike or realistic, and is a very pleasant escape. There are various challenging levels to complete, which unlocks various business and building upgrades for the next level. Each level that you complete unlocks the next city/state & you also get more freedom to move around the screen. In Sandbox mode you can even design a city completely to your own specifications, placing buildings and roads where you want them rather than where the game wants them. In Sandbox mode you are also untimed. In the timed mode, however, you are given a certain amount of funds to start building with and you have to increase your income and build the city. There are specific goals to meet at each level, however, and only by completing them all can you finish the level.
The game goes through various states and cities in each, and there is even a unique California level in which you have to restore a town hit by an earthquake and forestfire.

This game would be an excellant game for a school teacher to have for his/her students to teach them ECONOMICS!
It demonstrates the interdependency of all kinds of businesses, and how the economics of one affects the others. An excellant and fun teaching tool in this regard.

Amazon Kindle is a software and hardware platform developed by Amazon.com (subsidiary Lab126) for the rendering and displaying of e-books and other digital media. A provocative science fiction drama, District 9 boasts an original story that gets a little lost in blow-'em-up mayhem. As he begins metamorphosing into one of the creatures, Wikus goes on the run from scientists who want to harvest his evolving, new parts and aliens who see him as a threat. When he pairs up with an extraterrestrial secretly planning an escape from Earth, however, what should be a fascinating relationship story becomes a series of firefights and explosions. Nuance is lost to numbing violence, and the more interesting potential of the film is obscured. Yet, for a while District 9 is a powerful movie with a unique tale to tell. If I had the time I could probably hunt down all these candies and package them in a basket for 33% of the price, but who wants to go through all that trouble. This was nicely packaged and the 28-year-old friend I gave this to loved it! It was all the candy he wasn't allowed to buy as a pre-teen kid! Some memories from the snack bar at my little league games were also in there.

The Panasonic Viera C12 series, 32 inch tv is my first lcd tv. I have had a flat screen crt tv from sharp for about 4-5 years. the Sharp tv was great for what it was and have only good things to say about it, but it was getting old, occupied too much space and wanted a slick LCD. My girlfriend has an 37 inch LCD from Samsung and i have to say i was never too impressed with it so i wanted a different brand. I got the Panasonic for under $500 which was absolutely great and i am extremely satisfied. Firstly i have to say that the picture quality is better than the Samsumg and it has great features. I have only basic cable but i do get some hd channels which look fantastic.

Also i love the fact that you can easily turn the tv screen to a giant computer screen by hooking one cable up to your computer. I tend to watch some european soccer online and being able to see it on the tv screen was one thing i was looking for in a LCD. THe TV also has this cool feature where you can put in a digital camera memory stick and it will show all the pics on the tv. While this is not a reason in itself to buy it, it is a nice add-on when you want to check out how pictures look without having to download them on the computer first. Also i find the menu of the tv quite easy, simple and very user friendly.

I am very happy with the purchase from a quality & price perspective and would recommend this .
